HOW IT WORKS

  • 1. SELECT

Whether you’ve already got your rental wishlist or are just exploring, check out my “Equipment Page” (Homepage) and “Equipment List” (Top Left) to know what is available to rent.

Use the “Equipment” page to add items to your “Cart”. Unfortunately, batch additions are not currently possible through the site, so try using the “Pre-Built Packages” to speed up adding items!

  • 2. REQUEST

Once you’re happy with your Cart, finalize it by going through the “Checkout” process and requesting your Order.

I review each order personally and will send back an initial quote and cost. From there, we can customize the quote to your heart’s content.

  • 3. APPROVE

Once we’ve got the final quote locked in, I’ll get the rental items on hold for you and that’s it.

I don’t require a deposit up-front, so just keep prepping for your shoot, and let me know if anything changes!

  • 4. PICK-UP

All rental orders are eligible for pick-up after 2 pm on the day before your shoot. I will reach out the day before to confirm the pick-up location and time.

On your pick-up day, come by at your pre-arranged time and pick up your order!

We are typically open 9 am - 6 pm on Weekdays, but reach out to learn about our options for after-hours/remote pickups.

  • 5. SHOOT

Once you’ve got all of your equipment, you’re ready for your shoot. Let me know if any issues come up by reaching back out to me.

I’m happy to help with any issues/complications/last-minute requests that come up!

  • 6. RETURN

Your rental is due back before 12 PM the day after your last shoot day at the same location where you picked up. I have a variety of same-day/after-hours return options available, so if you need any accommodations just ask!

From there, I’ll check your order back in and you’re all good!

Now you’re ready to start renting! Reach out if you have any issues.

FAQs

  • Although I don’t require insurance, it is recommended to send over a COI to protect yourself. I typically charge a small premium if my insurance is covering the rental and have a “break-it, you-buy-it” policy on non-insured rentals.

  • I’d say reach out to me. I’m still in the pilot phase for this website and usually can make something work for the specific item you want: whether I subrent it or offer an alternative.

  • All orders are manually reviewed and approved so the cart won’t display a total. Once I’ve reviewed the order, I’ll send a draft quote with the total amount due for us to workshop.

For most big-ticket items, the price is viewable on my “Equipment List” or on the Item itself.

  • If you have any specific questions or want additional help reach out to me via email at thomasgeorgerentals@gmail.com

  • Since I’ve lived my whole life in Wisconsin and the Midwest I have developed a below average net internal temperature thus resulting in my being “cooler”.
